Carlo Gambino should need no introduction to this industry we all love, he has been DJ'ing longer than we care to remember and has played at many of the UK's biggest and best loved club nights and beyond. It became very clear from an early age that music would play a major role in Carlo's life; for over 30 years his father has worked in the music industry, touring with artists such as Michael Jackson, Prince, Take That and Rod Stewart, so it came as no surprise that he was destined to follow a similar path.

​With over 18 years in the industry so far, 2010 was a momentous year and the start of something special with Carlo being signed to '3am Recordings'. Several strong releases on the label quickly followed, which led to a rapid increase in demand for his original and remix work globally.

​

In 2011 Carlo launched his very own digital imprint, 'Midnight Social Recordings'. With artists including Denney, Tim Weeks, Al Bradley, Ceri, Jo Morris, RJ Fletcher, Luke Gibson, Ruben F & more not to mention plus Carlo himself already released on the label, the MSR roster is already busting out of the speakers with fine artists & is ready to unleash more as the label strides into 2015 and beyond.

Hailing from the hotbed of deep house that is Leeds, Carlo Gambino's Midnight Social Recordings has made an immediate impact on the scene, both in its hometown, nationally & internationally. With a strong history of being involved within the house scene for 20 years, Carlo's reach into the house community has given MSR automatic kudos, showcasing both established names alongside introducing new acts, all selected for the quality of the beats rather than the 'coolness' of the artist.



Already MSR has had a release featured on the front page of Beatport's Deep House page, proving that Carlo has his finger firmly on the pulse and his ear to the ground. The label has gone from strength to strength, which in turn has gained recognition in all the right places from the likes of Terry Francis, Moodymanc, Tyler Stadius, Justin Harris, Inland Knights, Audiojack, Murray Richardson and Rob Mello to name but a few.
